Our house is located on the outskirts of Alligny en Morvan and situated in the beautiful valley of the Mills.

The Lounge:

The Lounge is a traditional and spacious room with its oak beamed ceiling containing three windows giving views of the valley and garden. The room has enough comfortable seating for a family to relax, with the facilities to watch a movie, listen to a cd/radio or simply enjoy the atmosphere in front of the wood burning stove. Here you will find an information pack with details of the region and many leaflets for your perusal.

The kitchen:

Le Moulin de Jarles country charm is enhanced by the kitchen's traditional oak ceiling and the large double windows overlooking the hills to the east and the garden. The kitchen has been brought into the 21st century with newly fitted modern units and appliances. These include: fridge/freezer, two ring electric hob and oven, extractor unit, microwave, kettle, cafeteria and toaster. The kitchen table seats up to four, providing ample space to wine and dine.

In addition to the traditional heating by wood, the property also benefits from electric heating and double glazed windows.

Outside:

There is a patio area with garden furniture and a lawn garden. This south-facing garden is perfect for capturing the daytime sun. This area is fully fenced.

Gite Mill Stone

Many of the original features remain, one such being the old Granary stone, which is now used as an excellent BBQ. Also at the very end of the garden is the old well, still in use with water straight from the hills.

From here you can also observe the local wild life - deer, birds and perhaps the occasional wild boar.
